Cheers from GMC, Nagpur – We wanted to ask about accomodation facilities at AIIMS campus. Last year about 120 students attended from our college and suppose about the same number come this time – will you be able to accomodate us all?
Also, can a band from our college play in the Rock Nite?
Also for every team sports events like cricket, football can there be multiple teams from a single college? Please reply fast we have to see about acccomodation.

we are from andhra pradesh. we already had a trip to north india last year but didnt get to come to pulse as we didnt have any prior notice. so this time we are trying hard to make it to pulse despite many obstacles in the college.
i would like to know the requirements to attend the pulse, like any letter from the principal.

PULSE IS STILL ON. Please DO NOT PANIC as H1N1 is just another Influenza virus, similar to ones we all have been getting for all these years.
death toll due to swine flu is increasin day by day…our colg has cancelled our permission to attend PULSE!!! can we expect the PULSE to get pstpond?? dont wanna miss it!!

It’s TOO SAD that able doctors who run your college fail to understand the fact that SWINE FLU VIRUS (H1N1) IS YET ANOTHER INFLUENZA VIRUS STRAIN and that there’s NO REASON TO PANIC. Pulse 2009 is STILL ON… We showed courage LAST YEAR when PULSE took place despite the bomb blasts, and we will not cow down this year round!
Try to make them understand as Pulse is still a month away and things should look a little better in September.

You are most welcome to be a part of PULSE – 2009. As for your question, I’m sorry but we can not take care of any of your expenses before, during, or after PULSE.
SU-AIIMS, i will be glad to join PULSE2009…but what if my college is not willing to carry the expense…can i take the permission of my college and come to join this great event. Is it possible that i can participate in any kind of a solo event? I will be waiting for your kind reply .

Glad to know that you’re looking forward to PULSE-2009 as much as we are. As a rule, all expenses are to be borne by the participants themselves. If your college permits you to attend PULSE, there shouldn’t be any problem having you even as a solo participant.
You should wait for the brochure of PULSE 2009 to find out the details. It will be posted on SU SITE, so watch out!

Hi SAUMIL,
We are still working out the dates for the 2009 edition of Pulse. But let me tell you that usually PULSE takes place from 17-22 SEPTEMBER every year.
In no case shall it be earlier than September or any late than Mid-October; that is unless there are some extraordinary circumstances.
Hope you found your answer but stay tuned for updates on the matter.

You could then contact the PULSE CHIEF-COORDINATOR to get your college listed in the mailing list so that we could send the official invites. In case your college had been invited last year, you should get the brochure without request.
