Our Literary Secretary : There has been ever widening rift between the conservatives and progressives in the SU. The progressive neo-Nasheri group led by Anand Venkat raman aka Venky (also popularly known as Behen-ki) has repeatedly pressed for setting of LSD Plants in a special economic zone (SEZ) built on land grabbed from the poor Ganja Farmers of Hostel 3. This is vehemently opposed by the old school of the conservative Swadeshis led by President Kumar and General Secretary Cherian. Anand Venkat raman's true origins have been obscured by several erroneous nicknames, including Mallu, Lingam and Kadoo. Recently, his stupendous weight gain (believed to have been caused by eating an amount of food that would have staved off famine in large swathes of Sub-Saharan Africa) has resulted in several new ones - EdeMALLU and SwelLINGAM.. Arson and urinating on public monuments are but a few of the many activities that he has perfected over the years. It is believed that he got his post by being The Bitch of former General Secretary Sajan jiv Singh Nagpal. However confusion has reigned after the former general secretary was overheard saying in reference to him "he's my Daddy", while dancing to the song "Smack my bitch up".
