Infest 2009 (now called UDAAN) had around FIFTEEN Literary events with prize money more than Rs. 20,000!!!!

Here is a rough breakup for the events for you -

QUIZZES – five to six teams with 2 in each
1. General Trivia
2. India Quiz
3. Science Quiz
4. Entertainment Quiz (Movies + TV shows)
5. Sports Quiz

GUESSING GAMES
1. Dumb Charades (five to six teams, 3 in each)
2. Hieroglyphics (five to six teams; 3 in each)
3. Password      (five to six teams; 2 in each)
Each event will be held separately for English and Hindi languages

SPEAKING EVENTS
1. Debate
2. Extempore
In English and Hindi

RANDOM EVENTS
1. Just-a-Minute(JAM) – There will be five to six contestants who’ll be
required to speak on a topic selected by the event conductor for one
minute. Points will be earned by interjection on the part of the
other contestants. Interjections will be made on basis of stuttering
, repetition of ideas, not speaking Queen’s Eglish annd wasting time
by any means like speaking slowly, having longer pauses and
deviating from the topic on hand. Valid interjecton will put the
onus to continue on the interjector. The person who brings the topic
to a conclusion with the end of the alloted time (1 minute) will
also earn some points. (mighht be held in the auditorium due to
greater viewership)
2. SUDOKU – Sudoku’s will be given to the contestants and a fixed time
would be alloted to them (20-30 minutes) to finish as much as
they can. First, Second and Third prizes will be given.

3. CROSSWORD – Similar to sudoku
