Founded in 1966, the Students’ Union has as its members all the undergradraduate students presently pursuing their MBBS course from the AIIMS. The SU is a registered organization and has been at the forefront of curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities at the Institute.

As the All India Institute of Medical Sciences completes 52 years of excellence, we bear in mind the dazzling achievements of AIIMSonians past and strive to better them every passing year. The AIIMS is consistently ranked the best medical institute in the subcontinent, and the SU AIIMS has had as its members some of the most prodigious doctors and researchers in India and abroad today. Every year, we organize Pulse, an annual extravaganza of sports, dance, music and literary events, which is by far the most eagerly awaited cultural festival of India’s medical student fraternity, and one of the nation’s highly attended fests. The concerned secretaries for Literary, Socio-cultural and Gymkhana activities oversee provision of recreational facilities for the Students.
